REUTERS / Brendan McDermid (Reuters)-목요일 미국 식품의 약국 (Food and Drug Administration)은 제약 업체 인 Merck & Co (MRK.N) 에볼라 백신 Ervebo를 승인하여 치명적인 바이러스에 대해 FDA가 승인 한 최초의 백신이라고 밝혔다. 이 백신은 세계 보건기구 (WHO)와 콩고 민주 공화국에서 2014 년부터 2016 년까지 서 아프리카 일부 국가에서 에볼라 바이러스 질병 (EVD) 발생을 줄이기 위한 시험용 백신으로 사용되었습니다.

 

REUTERS/Brendan McDermid(Reuters) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said on Thursday it approved drugmaker Merck & Co’s (MRK.N) Ebola vaccine Ervebo, making it the first FDA-authorised vaccine against the deadly virus. The vaccine was used by the World Health Organization and Democratic Republic of the Congo as an investigational vaccine to help reduce Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreaks in few West African countries from 2014 to 2016.
